Grades, and what they actually cost you
A grade multiplies a unit's income and nothing else. There are nine of them, from D at 1.1x up to Z+ at 25x. Grades stack with traits and mutations, so the multiplier here is the base of a much larger number.
All nine grades
Chances are per single reroll, as published by Sportskeeda.
| Grade | Income | Chance per reroll | Rerolls to expect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Z+ | 25x | 0.007% | 14,286 |
| Z | 15x | 0.007% | 14,286 |
| S+ | 10x | 0.01% | 10,000 |
| S | 7x | 0.089% | 1,124 |
| A+ | 4.5x | 2.9% | 34 |
| A | 3x | 7.9% | 13 |
| B | 1.6x | 14.9% | 7 |
| C | 1.2x | 27.9% | 4 |
| D | 1.1x | 44.9% | 2 |
The published chances sum to 98.613%, not 100%. Either a tier is missing from the source or the small values are rounded. We have left the numbers as published rather than rescaling them to look tidy.
Grade reroll calculator
Rerolling is independent each time, so a Z+ is not more likely because you have missed ten times. The calculator below shows the odds across a budget rather than implying a due date.
Counts this grade or anything rarer, which is how most players budget.
Your existing rolls do not change the next one, but they do change the odds you have already beaten.

Expected rerolls is the average, not a guarantee. Half of all players need more than 14,286 rerolls, and a tail of unlucky ones need several times that.
How many rerolls it takes
Rerolls needed for Z+ or better, at each level of confidence. Read the middle row as: half of all players have hit it by then.
- 25% of players have hit it4,110 rolls
- 50% of players have hit it9,902 rolls
- 75% of players have hit it19,804 rolls
- 90% of players have hit it32,893 rolls
- 99% of players have hit it65,786 rolls
The last row is not a guarantee. Even at 99% confidence, roughly one player in a hundred is still waiting.
Gems are not modelled
No source publishes the gem cost of a single grade reroll, so this page counts rerolls rather than gems. If the cost is ever published, the maths above converts straight into a budget.
Where grades sit in the stack
Gradethis page
Multiplies income. Rerolled with gems at the Grades station in the hub.
Because the layers multiply, a great grade on a cheap unit can still lose to a mediocre grade on an expensive one. Check the unit income table before committing gems.
